Bryan R. Tolar
President
Bryan R. Tolar leads the GAC staff through Council initiatives to best serve member interests. This includes full time engagement at the State Capitol and working with regulatory agencies to effectively represent the ag industry. In addition, Tolar is a licensed insurance agent and helps members with workers compensation insurance and health insurance for their agribusinesses.  

Tolar joined GAC in 1997 and was named President in 2010. Throughout his career, he has represented GAC on issues related to natural resources and the environment, advanced GAC education programs, and helped develop GAC member services, while staying fully engaged in the public arena on all issues related to agribusinesses including regulatory and legislative matters. He has served on several statewide groups related to water resource management issues. He served on the State Advisory Committee during the development of the Georgia Comprehensive Statewide Water Plan. Tolar currently serves as a member of the Chattahoochee Basin Advisory Committee for the Metro North Georgia Water Planning District and is the Council liaison for the Georgia Crop Production Association Board of Directors and the Georgia Plant Food Educational Society Board of Directors. He is also past president of the Agricultural Economics Association of Georgia and currently serves on the executive committee of the Georgia Society of Association Executives.

Tolar is a 1992 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences with a degree in Agribusiness.
 

Jill Hansard
Business Manager
Jill Hansard joined the Georgia Agribusiness Council staff in 2003 and serves as the business manager. In her position, Jill manages the office needs and handles accounts payable, receivable and banking for GAC, along with day-to-day administrative support.

She graduated from Georgia State University in 1995.  Jill is married to Greg who is the youth minister at Maysville Baptist Church.  They have 2 beautiful children, her son is in college at Shorter University and her daughter is in high school at East Jackson.  They currently live in Jefferson Georgia. 

Delta Cartee
Receptionist/Member Services
Delta Cartee joined the organization in 2006. As the receptionist and member services assistant for the Georgia Agribusiness Council, Delta performs general office operations, assists Council members and is responsible for day-to-day membership responsibilities. She enjoys speaking with members to best direct their inquiries and loves serving the many friends of our industry. Whatever question you may have for the Council, Delta is often the first person you will reach and is always ready to assist.

Hunter Loggins
Public Affairs and Education Manager

Hunter Loggins joined the team in January 2017 as the Public Affairs and Education Manager. As the Council’s legislative and regulatory presence has grown, along with advancements in our education initiatives since creating the GAC Foundation, this is an increasingly important position for the organization. 

Hunter possesses the qualities and experience to help serve the Council’s membership. He served as a policy analyst for Georgia Senate Majority Leader Bill Cowsert, worked as a grassroots campaign associate for U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, and has been a lobbyist for the Georgia Beverage Association. He attended Georgia Southern and is a University of Georgia graduate. Raised in Perry, he now lives in Atlanta.


Maggie Wooten
Events and Member Support Manager
Maggie Wooten joined the GAC staff as Events and Member Support Manager in 2017. From a family farm in Dougherty County with a heart for service, she does everything from graphic design and marketing to event planning and organizing. Maggie is the point person for GAC events, including the Annual Meeting, State Legislative Breakfast, and Harvest Celebration. These duties include the Silent Auction and Field of Dreams portions of Harvest Celebration, as well as the GAC membership directory and sponsorship opportunities. 

Maggie is a 2014 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Graphic Communications Management.
